My bbf (you can decode that yourself) shared with me these reappropriated 59FIFTY New Era caps today, and my daily sweet tooth for all things creative was satisfied.
New Era recently held a creative invitation for artists to produce their interpretation of a 59FIFTY cap. Entitled New Era Introducing, the project rewarded finalists with the chance to feature their work in a global travelling exhibit. This year’s winner was Lina Al Amoudi of the United Arab Emirates. She was rewarded a £10,000 bursary to further pursue her creative career.
I need to get on this next year. I absolutely LOVE making art…and I would not at all mind the exposure.
